Popups trick a lot of users, believe it or not. Take my mom for example. She will click the Xs on the popup images rather than the X on the actual title bar to close it, which, as we all know, is part of the scheme to get you into their marketing scam. You mean that X isn't real? It's.. it's.. PART OF THE MATRIX? ?

Alright, i've got a server tower case with say, um.. I think 6 hard drives in it, all powered. Well, now I need to put in another 3 hard drives, but I have no more power connectors (and I don't want to split anymore). Do I need to buy a whole other power supply to replace the current one, or can I have two in a case? What would you recommned if I am going to have 9+ hd's in one computer?

Just a wild guess, but do you have the make.o file? And what about the files the errors are referencing? Do you have those also? You might be missing an SDK, be it DirectX or whatever you are compiling for...

Hacks are for kids that don't understand that winning isn't the only fun part of playing a game. Hacks are for losers that have minority complexes. Oh, and lastly, hacks are for script kiddies that download pr0gz off the net.

I know in phpNuke there is the "Content" section, where you can put random crap in there and then link to it that way.
Just a word of advice, from my past experiences with phpNuke, be sure to keep this CMS up-to-date. I don't know if postNuke has as many holes as phpNuke, but if it does, keeping it patched is a must. People have made scripts, such as this one to exploit sites easily. Umm... I hope not... But i'll be sure to keep it up to date... And thanks, I found what what I needed eventually on the postnuke site, I have to use a module for static content. Ahhhh!

I've been thinking about buying a dell..
There was this really good deal just last week for 700 bux, 17" monitor, 3.0 p4, 256mgs DDR, 80gb hd 7200rpm, nic, integrated soundcard, geforce 4 5200(?) or somet I think... Free shipping.. And the rest of the dell deal. I am so mad at myself for not buying it.
Oh right, anyway, welcome back!

I have to say, living in Alaska, we have this A LOT. Of course, the thing is, we don't have the same outlook as you guys I don't think. You see, basically everyone goes too fast on these icy roads. Why? Because it's also icy, A LOT. Going slow all the freakin time just doesn't cut it for a lot of people. Sometimes we go fast on the ice with the intent of crashing our vehicles. Why? Well, because it's a lot of fun. I mean, there are the exceptions to this rule, like the old folks that moved up from Florida, but the great majority of those that I live around drive 60 or so on snow/iced roads unless it's really really really bad. No one thinks twice about it. Oh sure, we get the crashes every once in awhile, but not terrible. I wouldn't be surprised if we have more accidents when it's not snowing as opposed to normally.
I know we get a lot of drunks crashing though. Oh, and teenagers... Hmm... that might explain my outlook on things.. considering i'm 19...
No, they're just bad drivers. I'm invincible!

Just on the whim on of you know....
Alright, I installed PostNuke on my sight, and (FINALLY) got it where I want it, I think. I hope.
Just one little problem. All these *nuke cms' are really freakin awesome for displaying dynamic content, but eh, how about static content? All I want to do is add a link to the left hand menu that loads a page. The SAME page every time. No dynamic news, nothing about who's logged in. Kind of like the FAQ. But eh, how do I do that? I know how to add links to menu, but how do I set up another page like the rest (so it uses the PostNuke theme etc). Do I have to write a complete fucking module or what? Any clues?

It seems to me that all my favourite books are british/european. The Golden Compass, anything by Terry Pratchett, the whole Hitchiker's Guide, LoTR, etc. But considering i've read so much, I though there had to be something American i'd liked. Well, I just finished Timeline by Michael Crichton, which was good. He's american, isn't he? Must be warned though, the movie ruins the book by a longshot... But i'd definetly recommend the Great Gatsby. One of my favs I think. Or anything by Mark Twain. Or how about Flowers for Algernon? That's a good one too Hope I'm not too late!

Don't they need to keep people like that around because they can use them as human shields later? I was thinking the same thing!!! The only reason the army is more lax about this whole thing is just for that reason. They'll take the stupidest dumbasses (no offense to the rest of ya), just so they can throw them out into the field later. Which makes sense.... Isn't there some test you have to take to get into the army? And isn't the passing score somewhere around retarded?

All geeks are wierd. It's part of the definition, isn't it? This week has been the abnormally weird, is what he would mean. Yea, most geeks are weird, but there is a level beyond that, and that's what we are getting
