My hosting is..eh..ok, I guess, but I need something more.  I currently pay $5 a month for hosting, with 30 megs of webspace, unlimited transfer/bandwidth/POP3 accounts, PERL, CGI, SQL, etc.  But I can't upload certain file extensions over 1 meg (mp3, mpeg, avi, etc), and I'm not safe from someone whois'ing the site and finding my name/address.  I can't add FTP users, nor can I create any directories.  Any suggestions for a reasonably priced host that will allow me everything I'm missing out on now?

I reccomend Insider Hosting. That's who hosts this site and forum. As you can see, they have fast servers, and they are always up and running.

I think they start off at about 7 a month, it's worth the extra money to get a better plan. I'm up to 45 a month last time I checked, and with the service you get from the techs there, it's worth it.

You can get support tickets responded to within 5 minutes.

Besides, that host is slow if you ask me. At one point the site would even reply when I tried to load one of the pages.

Actually, I was thinking of using that to report that post. Then I got a 404 error, so I couldn't.
