:cry:  hi to all!
im having trouble with my internet explorer.  all pages are redirected to something like searchlight.com i think.  and to add to it, my computer slows down.  my initial perception is that maybe its a trojan. so, i installed and downloaded many anti-trojan wares. my computer has returned to its normal state but not IE. i even reinstalled my iE but i still receive the same problem. Now, im using Opera7 instead.  

anyone knows if what i thought was right? --- the trojan.
i need to know which cleaner is closest to best. thnks!

Try Spybot: Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware.

Failing that, try Google.  It's a pretty nifty search engine.

The one-two punch of spyware death! This almost always works.

On a somewhat related note, my home comp had a real trojan downloaded on it from some source **cough roommate cough** and I had to ultimately flatten and reinstall Windows.  :(
