Hello. I know it's a novel ideea, they've just become popular in the last few days, but maybe you could try a... how is it called... i know, search engine! Like google.
Then try not to install to much spyware from the pages you find searching "free ringtones".

Ringtones are free, you have to be rather dense to pay some company for 'em, 'specially with what they're charging.

If you've got a polyphonic phone, hook it up to your computer and put some Midis on it.
If you've got a 'realtone' phone, hook it up to your computer and put some MP3s on it.

...If you've got a monophonic phone then you realy shouldn't care about ringtones... They're gonna sound crap anyway.

I would never say anything like that to someone now.  Too much respect for life maybe.  Or maybe I simply grew up.  I'm not sure.  I just don't really like it when people die, whether they said something stupid or not...so I wouldn't tell someone to do it for fear that they might do as they were told.

Oh, and I bought a ringtone once.  Fotographia by Juanes and Nellie Furtado.  It was like $3.99 I think.  It said 3 months, but it never did go away.

So no, I don't know where to get free ones, just the $3.99 ones.
