Rain or Shine?

I woke up today to find it to be very sunny outside with lots of birds chirping, and, well, lots of sun. I'd prefer it to be cloudy, and no birds chirping. I honestly don't know why, but for some reason this whole sunny thing with lots of birds chirping pisses me off.

That would with have to be a really large t-shirt, or really small print. :P

I think my problem with the sun would have to be due to the fact that I work indoors, the shade is always down in my room, and I'm infront of the computer a lot. I need a fucking sun tan.

Let the sun shine. Let me have some beers. Let me roast on a beach.

I enjoy both, yet neither occur when I want them to. Damned disobedient weather.

I also have the weird tendancy to prefer rain.

Rain is kind of nice, its melodic in a way..

As for birds, thier chirping is about as pleasing as getting an anal strip search. I wish I had a BB gun, I would gladly shut them the fuck up!

I'd be forced to agree. I thoroughly enjoy listening to the rain outside, but I LOATHE it when it leaks in my basement...

NOT something I particularily enjoy...

That's the one that that I really don't enjoy about rain, mud, and the fact that if there's enough rain, the water will start coming through the floor of my basement. Good to know someone else has that problem. I was about ready to call the Discovery Channel saying that I found water that travels UP instead of down!

That would be an act commonly performed by dietys!
But that is a different story entirely.

I like both, but rain is nicer. Sunny days are good for the winter and rainy days are good for the summer.

Rain.  I find sun annoying, too.  It hurts my eyes.  Rain is fun, and not bright.  Thunder and Lightning are pretty awesome, too.  I like sleeping when it rains.

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
Everything that's wonderful is what I feel when we're together,
Brighter than a lucky penny,
When you're near the rain cloud disappears, dear,
And I feel so fine just to know that you are mine.

My life is sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
That's how this refrain goes, so come on, join in everybody!

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
Everything that's wonderful is sure to come your way
When you're in love to stay.

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
Everything that's wonderful is what I feel when we're together,
Brighter than a lucky penny,
When you're near the rain cloud disappears, dear,
And I feel so fine just to know that you are mine.

My life is sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
That's how this refrain goes, so come on, join in everybody!

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
Everything that's wonderful is sure to come your way
'Cause you're in love, you're in love,
And love is here to stay

I'm a California native, and forever couldn't understand how people would enjoy anything but 78 degrees and sunny.

Then I moved to North Carolina, and it rained pretty often, a mean rain that would kick your ass and take your lunch money.

Then I moved to the Pacific Northwest, where it's almost always raining, but it's a soft rain, almost a perfect rain, not hard enough to get you really wet if you're walking, but not that super small fog stuff either.

I've come to like the rain better. Keeps everything clean.

I prefer sunshine, I live across the street from the beach and its all tourists down here. Its alot easier when the tourists are all down there and out of my way. Also I work in a restraunt its alot less busy, and work is easier because not as many people are there when the sun is out.

Don't mind me asking, are you new? Or have you signed up before, introduced yourself, then left for an extremely long period of time?

Just checking. :P
