For those of us who live in the Midwest and Northeast, we had a fun little weekend, didn't we?

Madison, WI, received over 12 inches of that powdery white shit.

Our local news says we got 6.8 inches, but that's baloney. I spent two hours shovelling on Saturday, and it was closer to a foot with drifts up to two feet.

They've closed the office 3 times out of the last 6 business days. Last snowfall was around 12 inches.

Clear, in the 70s. Yesterday I sat outside watching the hills change color with the sunset, and the almost-full moon rising. Drinking a cold beer. It was nice, but I miss snow, not having seen any in years.

Ivan, you're not that far from Bigbear... get in your car and go to the snow if it won't come to you.

New Year's Eve 1984, I went skiing at Big Bear mountain and then New Year's day 1985 (less than 12 hours later), I went surfing at long beach. Ahhhhhh.... good times.

We got about 10 inches of snow. I'm just glad it wasn't the heavy wet crap.

I don't think we got much here. There's a bunch of ice on some of the roads, but that's about it. It was snowing pretty good in Lewisburg on Saturday. I was glad to have the 4 wheel drive for the very short time we were out in it.

I got about 16 inches of snow around here. I'm fairly close to HeavyJay, so it's no wonder why we have pretty much the same amount.

The assholes that are supposed to plow the lot outside my store never really did show up until around 2 or 3 the FOLLOWING DAY. You would not believe what people will do just for food.
